CPN (Unified Socialist) form District Committees in 55 districts

KATHMANDU: The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) has formed District Committees in 55 districts.

The party, which was formed by leader Madhav Kumar Nepal about a month ago, has conducted various political programs including rallies to expand its organization across the country. It is said that committees will be formed in the remaining 22 districts soon.

Jagannath Khatiwada, head of the party’s Information Department, said that the party would launch a campaign at the national level to conduct necessary political activities for the formation, reorganization, expansion and consolidation of various departments of the party, organizations.

Membership will be distributed for the expansion of the organization. Membership forms to be distributed for the expansion of the party’s organization have been made available online.

The old membership will be recognized for the leader who wants to join the party. After the meeting of the central committee, the party will change the departments of some leaders and assign new responsibilities.
