Kathmandu, July 12: Leader Madhav Kumar Nepal led Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist) will not participate in the new government led by CPN UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli. Party leader Metmani Chaudhary, however, informed that the party will support new government in terms of merit and demerit.

The party which earlier voted in favor of the motion of confidence in the government led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has instructed its MPs to vote in favor of the government again.

CPN UML and Ashok Rai-led Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal has already withdrew their support to the present Dahal-led government. The present government has already lost majority in the House, but PM Dahal tried to buy time on taking vote of confidence.

CPN (U S) has 10 seats in the House of Representatives and eight seats in the National Assembly.
