Kathmandu, Nepal — The U.S. Embassy Nepal has announced the launch of “Creator’s Mela 2026: Vision to Venture,” a nationwide initiative aimed at accelerating Nepal’s creative economy by transforming digital creators into sustainable, professional entrepreneurs.
Marking a bold evolution of the flagship platform, this year’s edition shifts its focus from content creation to business building. The multi-city experience will kick off in Chitwan on January 17, travel to Nepalgunj on January 24, and conclude with a two-day finale in Kathmandu on January 30–31, 2026.
Under the theme Vision to Venture, Creator’s Mela 2026 is designed to bridge the gap between digital storytelling and professional enterprise. By integrating U.S. expertise in technology, platform monetization, and digital business development, the program aims to equip Nepali creators with practical pathways to scale their influence into long-term careers.
“Creator’s Mela 2026 reflects the United States’ commitment to strengthening Nepal’s creative economy,” said Mike Harker, Public Affairs Chief at the U.S. Embassy Nepal. “By enhancing knowledge, skills, and networks nationwide, we are supporting entrepreneurship and job creation. We are positioning Nepali creators not just for local influence, but for success with American business partners and in global markets.”
The event features a powerhouse lineup of more than 50 creators, industry experts, and performers, including Sajjan Raj Vaidya, Priyanka Karki, Ayushman Joshi, 2B Gamer, Lex Limbu, Neetesh Jung Kunwar, Kabita Nepali, Yabesh Thapa, Sonam Topden, Shrishes Manandhar, and Nepal 8th Wonder, among others. Through interactive workshops, panel discussions, and live performances, participants will gain insights into turning digital presence into nationwide impact.
A major highlight of the Kathmandu summit is “Pitch to Success,” an on-the-spot mentorship platform where selected creators will pitch their ventures to leading corporate figures such as Anand Bagaria (Nimbus), Cabinet Shrestha (Agni Group), and Bishakha Khadka Kunwar (Ncell), receiving real-time feedback and strategic guidance.
Since its inception in 2023, Creator’s Mela has grown into Nepal’s premier hub for the digital and creative ecosystem. Now in its fourth edition, the Vision to Venture initiative underscores the U.S. Embassy’s continued commitment to professionalizing the creator economy and fostering inclusive economic growth across Nepal. #Nepal
