Kathmandu, Nov 12: The Secretariat of Nepal Hajj Committee has extended the application deadline for Hajj in 2024 (Hajj 1445) until November 26, 2023.
Maqbul Mian, the Acting Chairman of Nepal Hajj Committee, informed that the application deadline for Nepalese Muslims was up to November 8.
Chairman Mian informed that as the applications for Hajj were opened faster than previous years from the Nepali Muslim community who were exempted from applying, there was a demand to extend the application period, as per the decision of the Nepal Hajj Committee, the application period was extended.
Interested applicants can also get the application form from the website of the secretariat of Nepal Hajj Committee and if they need more information, they can contact the secretariat at Singhdurbar.
This year, the Saudi Arabian government has set a quota for Nepalis so that 1,200 followers of Islam can visit Saudi Arabia for Hajj.
