KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) parliamentarian Sarita Kumari Giri has demanded impartial investigation into the demise of Dr Bijay Kumar Yadav of Bishnupur Rural Municipality in Saptari district.
Demanding time with Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Agni Prasad Sapkota in today’s HoR meeting, Giri accused that the Nobel Medical College administration for trying to stage the murder of Dr Yadav as an accident. Giri claimed that Dr Yadav was brutally murdered on June 1 night. Yadav was orthopedic specialist in the Nobel Hospital in Morang.
Giri further blamed that Nepal Police had attempted to destroy the evidences related to Dr Yadav’s murder whose dead body, according to her, was lying abandoned in the premises of his rented house. The dead body also contained bruises occurred from attack, claimed Giri.
Parliamentarian Giri claimed that Dr Yadav’s family has been claiming that the doctors, employees and pharmaceutical shops were involved in the murder of Dr Yadav and demanded a parliamentary probe committee to bring the culprit to justice and serve justice to the victim’s families.
