Kathmandu, Jan 13: The Kathmandu District Court has sent Chairperson of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane to judicial custody again when the hearing whether or not to extend his detention was not concluded today.
Lamichhane, also the former Home Minister, was sent to judicial custody as the hearing whether or not to extend his remand did not end today.
The hearing against Lamichhane who was arrested on charge of misappropriating deposits of Kathmandu-based Swarnalaxmi Cooperative was at the bench of Justice Madhab Prasad Adhikari.
Public Information Officer at the Kathmandu District Court, Ambar Bahadur Chand told RSS, “The hearing will start from January 15. The police have been entrusted with the responsibility to keep him at judicial custody”. RSS #nepal
