Election Commission submits report to President Paudel



Kathmandu, March 19: The Election Commission has today submitted the report of the Vice Presidential election held on the March 17 to the President Ramchandra Paudel.

During a ceremony at President Office, Sheetal Niwas, Chief Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya submitted the report to the President Paudel. In the election, JSP leader Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has been elected as the Vice President of Nepal.

On the occasion, President Paudel said that the democratic practice is becoming mature after the completion of the presidential/vice presidential elections. He also expressed his gratitude to the Commission and all concerned bodies for conducting all the elections in a free, fair and peaceful manner.

Chief Commissioner Thapaliya also discussed that this year is an election year for the Commission. Commissioners Ram Prasad Bhandari, Janaki Kumari Tuladhar, Sagun Shumsher JB Rana and Commission Secretary Gokarna Mani Duwadi were also present on the occasion.
