Jhapa : A person was killed in an elephant attack at Kachankawal rural municipality in Jhapa last night.
The District Police Office, Jhapa confirmed the death of Kaya Raya Chhetri, 55, of Kachankawal-7 in the attack by the wild animal near the local Pathibhara community forest office. He died on the spot. He was the assistant for the same office.
