Budhanilkantha Fight Night to be held on Baisakh 20



Kathmandu, March 27: The Budhanilkantha Fight Night is set to take place on Baisakh 20 (May 3) under the organization of the Budhanilkantha Hattigauda Sports Committee.

According to the organizing committee’s chairman, Nilam Adhikari, 20 fighters from three nations—Nepal, India, and Thailand—will compete in a one-versus-one format across 10 weight categories. Nepal will have the highest representation with 13 fighters, followed by 6 from India and 1 from Thailand. The competition will feature 7 men’s and 3 women’s matches.

The event is being managed by Galak the Lifestyle, with a total prize pool of Rs 6 lakh. The matches will be held at Hattigauda, with technical support from the Nepal National Muay Thai Association.

According to the association’s president, Ganesh Lal Kakshapati, the tournament aims to promote Muay Thai as a professional sport in Nepal. #muay #thailand #nepal #fight #sports
