Kathmandu, May 5: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has consulted with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba about the budget for the upcoming Fiscal Year 2082/83 BS (2025/26).
He reached Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha this morning and held consultations with the NC President and former Prime Minister on the next fiscal year’s budget. Minister Paudel have been actively acquiring opinions, suggestions and insights from top political level and business, economic sectors as well.
On the occasion, Deuba suggested to adopt austerity keeping in view the economic situation of the country and prepare the budget so that the resources can be utilized to the maximum, the Finance Minister’s Secretariat said.
According to constitutional provisions, the government must present the budget on Jestha 15 in joint session of federal parliament. #nepal #budget
