Mugu, Sept 23: Deputy Superintendent of Police Birendra Thapa informed that six houses were damaged in the fire in the market located north of Kalika Malika temple in Gamgadi bazaar.
He said that Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, City Police and local residents have brought the fire under control.
According to him, a fire was started from a wooden house last night. DSP Thapa informed that the houses of Tarke Lama, Sonam Lama, Jung Aidy, Santona Khatri, Panch Sejuwal, PR Malla, Pradeep Rawal and Putli Shahi were destroyed in the fire.
In 2078 BS, there was a fire in the lower bazaar of Gamgadi Bazaar and 19 houses were destroyed.
