Saptari, June 9: Twelve houses were completely destroyed by fire at Hanumannagar Kankalini rural municipality-5 in Saptari district today.
The fire that originated from a house of Buchu Khang engulfed the houses of four more families, said police.
The houses of Sagan Khang, Dukhai Khang, Lakhan Khang and Narayan Khang along with of Buchu were turned into ashes in the incident.
Reason behind the fire has not been ascertained yet, which reportedly gutted property worth Rs 2.5 million.
According to the District Police Office, locals and police personnel doused the fire. #nepal #rss
