Kathmandu, Oct 3: Nepal’s former King Gyanendra Shah has embarked a historic visit to Bhutan. On the invitation of the Bhutanese royal family, he went to Thimphu this morning by Royal Bhutan Airlines (or Druk Air).
The former King Shah was welcomed by Princess Pem Wangchuck of Bhutan at the Paro airport.
Daughter Prerana, niece Sitasma and some secretarial assistants are staying with the former king. Former King Shah is scheduled to return home on Sunday. #gyanendra #bhutan #royal #family
