Former President Yadav unveils ‘Satsangdikshya’



Kathmandu, July 12: Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has said the Sanatan religion and eastern civilization have been significantly contributing to strengthening of religious, cultural and people’s level relations between Nepal and India.

Unveiling a book titled ‘Satsangdikshya’ at a programme organised by Hanumandhoka Durbar Museum Development Committee and Swami Narayan Sanstha Nepal here today, former President Yadav pointed out the need of linking spirituality to science.

He mentioned, “We should work understanding our culture, tradition and society which will make us easier to maintain peace, co-existence and brotherhood. This ultimately contributes to broader welfare.”

On the occasion, Sadhu Bhadresh Das Swami expressed the ancient Sanatan religion has become successful to present an example of culture, love, devotion and reconciliation between Nepal and Nepalis. Sharing that ‘Satsangdikshya’ was translated from culture that remains a common ties between Nepal and India, he opined that each country has its unique identity of language, costumes, food and culture.

Likewise, former lawmaker Shankar Prasad Pandey argued that religion and cultural tourism are the main basis of Nepal’s prosperity. He viewed the book would be the best creation for world peace, harmony and human welfare.

A youth leader and scholar Shankar Tiwari said it would help new generation connect with spirituality through Satsangdikshya in Nepal, the home to religious sites and holy land.
