Four commercial banks declare dividend, NIC ASIA on top



Kathmandu, Sept 15:  Four private sector commercial banks have announced dividends to shareholders from the profits of the last financial year. According to Nepal Stock Exchange, Machhapuchhre, Everest, Sanima and NIC Asia Bank have declared dividends.

Machhapuchhre Bank has declared 13.3 percent bonus share and 0.7 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. The company has set the date of ‘book close’ for dividend distribution on Ashwin 8.

Similarly, Everest Bank has announced 10 percent bonus share and 10.53 percent cash dividend (including tax purposes). Sanima Bank has also announced 9 percent bonus share and 5.7 percent cash dividend (including tax purposes).

Another private sector bank, NIC Asia, has declared 29 percent bonus shares and 1.5 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. The book close date of Everest, Sanima and NIC Asia Bank has not been decided yet.
