Dharan, Sept 12: Four dead bodies have been recovered from the Bhatbhateni supermarket of Dharan which was set on fire by the protestors.
Spokesperson of the District Police Office in Sunsari, Yograj Khatiwada, informed that the four bodies might have been of the looters which entered the superstore in course of the GenZ protest last Tuesday.
Once the superstore was set on fire, they might have been trapped inside the building.Three of these bodies were found at the fourth floor, while one at the second floor, the police added.
“It is difficult to identify the torched bodies, so only DNA could be a solution,” Khatiwada said, adding that the corpses were sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for further action.
As the GenZ protest was intense, an anarchic group had sprinkled petrol on the store and set it on fire at 7:00pm. The blaze was doused next morning.#nepal #Bhatbhateni supermarket #rss
