Kathmandu, Sept 8: The GenZ demonstration has caused arson and vandalism at New Baneshwor.
The Nepal Police persons opened tear gas shells and made blank firings to tame the rowdy protest.The demonstration breached the restricted area of Baneshwor area though it had remained peaceful up to Bijuli Bazaar Bridge from Maitighar.
The protestors clashed with police persons as they tried to enter the federal parliament building at New Baneshwor. The young demonstrators vandalized the wall of the parliament building and set on fire the police post near the gate.
In response, the police shot dozens of tear gas shells and made blank firings to contain the violent acts.#nepal #rss
