Myagdi, March 20: The hills of Ghorepani in Annapurna Rural Municipality–6, Myagdi District have turned vibrant as rhododendron flowers bloom across the slopes, creating a colorful and picturesque landscape.
Located at an altitude of around 2,800 meters above sea level, the forests of Ghorepani have become especially attractive with the arrival of the spring season. Locals say the area is now ready to welcome tourists.

Resident Devendra Pun said the hills have been beautifully painted red by blooming rhododendrons and are eagerly awaiting visitors. “The slopes covered with blooming rhododendrons have made Ghorepani truly mesmerizing,” he said, adding that both sides of the forest are filled with vibrant flowers.
Visitors are equally captivated by the natural beauty. Milan Khatri, who recently visited from Beni, shared that the fresh air, peaceful environment, chirping birds, and stunning Himalayan views made the experience unforgettable.
“The sight of the mountains alongside blooming rhododendrons is enchanting. You lose track of time enjoying the scenery,” he said.
With its scenic beauty at its peak during spring, Ghorepani is expected to attract a large number of domestic and international tourists in the coming days. #nepal #rhododendrons
