Global Bank proposes 16% dividend



Kathmandu: The Global IME Bank, one of the largest private sector bank in Nepal, have proposed a bonus of 16% for it’s shareholders.

A meeting of board of directors on Thursday has proposed that the shareholders will receive 14% bonus share and 2% cash. The proposed bonus was allocated from the earning of fiscal year 2076/77 BS.

The bank has stated that GIBL has earned actual profit of Rs. 3.8 billion on 2076/77 BS. After the distribution of bonuses, the bank’s paid-up capital will reach to Rs. 21.63 billion. Currently, the bank has Rs. 240 billion reserve and nearly Rs. 206 billion on investment.

The bank has currently 261 branches, 45 revenue collection and extension counters, 237 ATMs and 229 branchless banking services across the country.
