Kathmandu, Aug 4: Two members have been appointed to the board of directors of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has appointed Mahendra Bahadur Gurung and Devendra Karki as directors of the authority.
They have been appointed by the ministry in place of Bhakta Bahadur Pun and Kapil Acharya.
Earlier, Pun and Acharya were dismissed by the ministry saying that the officials at the ministry were not satisfied with the explanation. Pun and Acharya were of the position that the NEA must collect dues of dedicate and trunk lines from the industrialists.
Both Pun and Acharya favored the arguments and evidences regarding the controversial dedicated and trunk lines. #nea #nepal
