KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives held on Saturday passed with majority the government’s policy and programmes for the coming fiscal year 2022/23.
Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota announced the passage of government’s policy and programmes with majority.
Earlier, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba responded to the queries raised by lawmakers. Similarly, amendment proposal on government’s policy and programmes by lawmakers was rejected.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari on May 24 had presented the government’s policy and programmes for the coming fiscal year 2022/23 in the joint meeting of both houses of the federal parliament.
The next meeting of the HoR has been called at 6:00 am Sunday. Before this, a joint meeting of both houses of federal parliament has been called at 4:00 pm Sunday.
