Kathmandu, May 15: Hearing on the appeal, filed by cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane against the decision of the District Court to find him guilty of rape, will continue in Patan High Court today.
Arguments by both the sides concluded on Tuesday before the bench of Judge Sudarshandev Bhatta and Anju Upreti. However, the hearing was not completed and it will continue on Wednesday.
The District Court of Kathmandu convicted Lamichhane of rape and sentenced him to eight years in prison along with a fine.
