Kathmandu, July 31: Various areas of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts have been flooded due to heavy rain overnight.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 32 Narefant area has been flooded. Corridor roads in Manohara river, Hanumante riverbank have been blocked. Manohara Corridor has been completely submerged due to flood.
Various places of Lalitpur’s Mahalaxmi municipality have been inundated due to floods after continuous rains.
The Department Meteorology has sent a message to the mobile phone saying that the water level of the Godawari river has crossed the danger level and is rising and has requested to be on high alert till 9 am today as there is a risk of flooding in the coastal areas. #flood
