Hetauda, Oct 10: The Hetauda Hospital in Makawanpur district is running a psychosocial ward with the facility of 25 beds.
Organizing a news conference on Monday, the Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences shared that the OPD service with 25 beds of psychosocial ward will begin from today coinciding the World Mental Health Day.
Rector of the Academy Dr Surendra Sherchan said that three doctors would offer the service adding that the psychosocial and mental health training would also be given in all local levels in the district.
Dean of the Academy Durga Mishra Khadka, Health Ministry’s Dr Khagendra Gelal, Registrar Rajesh Prasain, Medical Superintendent Dr Ram Chandra Sapkota and others were also present at the press meet.
