Damauli, March 28: The Tanahun Hydropower Project, which is constructing a 140-megawatt hydropower plant in Tanahun district, has launched a skills training program for members of the affected communities.

As part of this initiative, 36 local residents are receiving driving training to help them enhance their income-generating opportunities, according to the project.

Project Chief Shyamji Bhandari stated that the 26-day training program includes participants from Myagde Rural Municipality, Rishing Rural Municipality, Bhimad Municipality, and Vyas Municipality. The training is being conducted at centers in Damauli and Bhimad under the project’s Livelihood Reintegration Programme.
