KATHMANDU: The Investment Board of Nepal (IBN) has approved the Rs 25.92 billion investment for the construction of Tamakoshi-5 and Rahughat hydropower projects. Both the projects will be developed by Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
A meeting of the Investment Board held on Monday decided to approve the investment, the board said.
The Board has approved an investment of Rs 16.45 billion for the 100 MW Tamakoshi-5 and Rs 9.47 billion for the 40 MW Rahughat Hydropower Project, said Sushil Bhatta, CEO of the Board.
The Tamakoshi-5 project is being constructed with the investment of Employees Provident Fund.
