Kathmandu, Dec 15: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has congratulated the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on the successful completion of the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
ICC Chair Jay Shah conveyed his congratulations in a letter addressed to CAN Chair Chatur Bahadur Chand, commending the association for successfully organizing the tournament. In the letter, Shah expressed confidence that CAN would reach new heights under Chand’s leadership.
He noted that the Nepal Premier League would not only contribute to the production of new cricketing talent, but also help strengthen Nepal’s presence at the international level.
Stating that the NPL’s organizational management and the overall quality of the matches had set an exemplary standard, the ICC Chair extended his best wishes for the continued success of CAN in promoting and developing cricket in Nepal. #nepal #cricket
