Kathmandu, March 20: President of International Cricket Council (ICC), the global cricket governing body, Greg Barclay called on Minister for Youth and Sports Biraj Bhakta Shrestha at the latter’s office in Singh Durbar today.
During the meeting, matters relating to the development and promotion of cricket in Nepal were discussed.
On the occasion, the ICC President said ICC is committed to supporting Nepal’s cricket development, recognizing the growing popularity of cricket in the country and its importance on the international stage.
Sports Minister Shrestha welcomed the support of the ICC so far and emphasized that the ministry is determined to promote cricket as a means of youth empowerment and national pride.
Barclay arrived Kathmandu on a four-day visit to Nepal on Monday. #nepal
