New Delhi: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of the Indian Army, General Manoj Pande to visit Nepal from Sept 4-8.
This will be his first visit to Nepal since his appointment to the post on April 30 this year.
However, the Indian Army has not published a detailed schedule of his visit.
According to sources, Gen Pande will be conferred with the honorary rank of ‘General of the Nepal Army’ by President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
He will hold bilateral discussion with his counterpart CoAS of Nepal Army, General Prabhuram Sharma.
