Kathmandu: Visiting Indian Chief of Army Staff Manoj Mukund Naravane paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the Defense Minister.
Prime Minister Oli and Army Chief Naravane met at the PM’s official residence in Baluwatar on Friday.
According to Prime Minister’s Press Adviser Surya Thapa, the two had a courtesy meeting.
Army Chief Naravane arrived in Nepal on Wednesday. He has come to Nepal to receive the honorary title of General of the Nepal Army. On Thursday, President Bidya Devi Bhandary conferred him the honorary title.
He is scheduled to return home today.
