Indian Embassy grieved over the death of Indians in bus accident



Kathmandu, Aug 23: The Embassy of India in Kathmandu has expressed grief over the death of 27 Indian nationals in the unfortunate road accident in Tanahun today.

Remaining 16 passengers have been airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment at TU Teaching Hospital. “Embassy mourns the loss of lives and prays for early recovery of the injured,” a statement of the Embassy said.

Embassy of India, Kathmandu continues to be in constant touch with local authorities and the hospital staff for treatment of the injured and earliest repatriation of the mortal remains of the deceased to India.
