Chitwan, Feb 24: An Israeli citizen has died due to the attack of wild elephant named ‘Govinde’ near Ratnanagar Municipality-6 Hattisar of Chitwan district.
According to the District Police Office Chitwan, the deceased is identified as 30-year-old Samuel Boikanar.
The elephants attacked near Dhungre River. The incident took place today at 12:20 pm. Along with this, six people have died due to attacks by wild animals this year.
According to the Chitwan National Park authorities, one person died from a tiger attack, two from an elephant and three from rhinoceros attack.
