KATHMANDU: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has formed a three-member party headquarters.
The Central Committee meeting held Monday formed the party headquarters comprising Central Executive Committee Chair Upendra Yadav, Federal Council Chair Baburam Bhattarai and senior leader Ashok Rai.
The headquarters has been set up to take necessary decisions in case of urgent issues and urgent decisions within the party, said JSP executive member Mohammad Ishtiyaq Raya.
In case the executive or central committee meeting cannot be held and the party has to take a decision immediately, the headquarters will take necessary decision.
According to executive member Raya, the meeting has passed the criteria and guidelines for selection of candidates for the local election.
The party has also stated that the meeting of the Central Committee of the party which started on Sunday was concluded today.
