Kathmandu, Dec 22: Jiban Karki, a resident of Ramechhap district, has been elected as the President of Nepal Jaycees, one of the largest philanthropic organization in Nepal.
At the 52nd National Convention of Nepal Jaycees, currently underway in Janakpur, Karki was elected to the post after securing 512 votes. He has been elected as the National President of Nepal Jaycees for the year 2026.
In the election, his closest rival Bijay Gurung received 462 votes, while Rashmi Shilpakar secured 147 votes and Rajaram Gautam 83 votes.
Voting for the new leadership continued until late Sunday at the convention, which had been ongoing in Janakpur since Friday. The convention concluded on Monday after the selection of the new leadership. #nepal #jaycees
