Surkhet, April 25: The Chief Minister of Karnali Province Yam Lal Kandel has received the vote of confidence in the state assembly meeting held on Thursday.
A total of 35 state lawmakers were present in the 40-member provincial assembly today. In which 23 were in favor of the vote of confidence, 11 were against and 1 was neutral.
Kandel was appointed as the Chief Minister on April 9, 2024.
The new coalition of CPN UML, CPN Maoist Centre, CPN (Unified Socialist), among other voted UML’s Kandel.
