Khotang, Aug 27: Landslide has obstructed Diktel-Halesi road section of the Mid-Hill highway from this morning. Vehicular movement at the road section was obstructed due to landslide occurred at Nagi of Halesi Tuwachung municipality-10.
Mayor Bimala Rai said efforts were underway from the morning to remove landslide debris in order to resume the vehicular movement.
It will take time to bring the road section fully into operation as landslide is still taking place, she mentioned. Passengers heading towards Kathmandu from different districts of eastern Tarai have been stranded following the road obstruction. #rss #obstruction
