Janakpur, Dec 15: The Council of Ministers of Madhesh Province was expanded on Monday on the recommendation of Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav.
According to a press release issued by Shatrudhan Yadav, Acting Secretary at the Office of the Province Chief, Chief Minister Yadav has assumed responsibility for the Office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers, along with several key portfolios.
These include the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development; the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives; the Ministry of Sports and Social Welfare; the Ministry of Home, Communications and Law; the Ministry of Forests and Environment; and the Ministry of Labour and Transport.
Similarly, Mahesh Prasad Yadav has been assigned the Ministry of Finance, Jangi Lal Raya the Ministry of Health and Population, Jawahar Lal Kushwaha the Ministry of Energy, Irrigation and Drinking Water, Rani Kumari Tiwari the Ministry of Education and Culture, and Kanish Patel the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
The press release further stated that the newly appointed ministers took their oaths of office and secrecy before the Province Chief at a ceremony held at the Office of the Province Chief earlier today. #nepal #madhes
