Maoist Centre stresses mass mobilization, organization building

Kathmandu, July 28: The central committee meeting of the major opposition CPN (Maoist Centre) continued today as well, emphasizing the immediate actions the party should forward.

The meeting convened at the party central office, Parisdanda discussed the latest political situation of the country, the aftermath of the ouster from the government, party’s role in the coming days and mass mobilization and organization building among others, according to Vice-Chairperson and Spokesperson, Agni Sapkota.

Spokesperson Sapkota informed that leaders Janardan Sharma, Ganesh Shah, Hitman Shakya and Giriraj Mani Pokharel and Shree Ram Dhakal expressed their opinions in the meeting on Sunday.

They viewed that the party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ had delivered effectively on good-governance, social justice and economic development.

Furthermore, they argued that the largest party in the parliament (Nepali Congress) and the second largest (CPN UML) came together after the CPN (Maoist Centre)-led government tried to move forward effectively in the matters of good-governance.

According to Spokesperson Sapkota, the leaders in the meeting held the view that the party should collectively sensitize people about the positive actions taken during the Maoist-led government while the party should take ownership of all weakness on the part of the party-led government.

The meeting attendants also mentioned that the party leaders got an opportunity to reach out to the people with a winner’s spirit and to expand party organization based on that.

The meeting that commenced since last Friday will be held next on Monday. #nepal #CPN #Maoist #rss
