Kathmmandu, May 7: The fire victims of Matihani of Mahottari have to face another catastrophes on Tuesday. After long drought and heat wave, terai region including Mahottari received brisk rain today.
The gross negligence of the government (local, provincial and central), the fire victims have to struggle to save their belongings from rain. Their cries were unheard. A senseless and irresponsible governments have been struggling to garner political gain in the parliament, ignoring the demand of fire victims across the country.
According to a report, more than 800 houses were burnt and damaged due to forest fire and other fire incident.
