Jhapa, March 13: Church Boys United has entered the final of the fifth Mechinagar Gold Cup Football Championship underway in Kankadbhitta.
In today’s march, Church Boys has reached the final defeating Machchhindra 4-3 goals. African player Abayomi Fakunle stroke hat trick to steer Church Boys to the win. With this, Church Boys United is all set to take on the host, Kankadbhitta Football Training Centre, on Saturday.
Fakunle who was declared the ‘player of the match’ bagged a cash award of Rs 11,000. Coach of the Church Boys, Suman Shrestha commented that they had clinched the win with impressive comeback in the game.
The winner will receive Rs 1 million with trophy and medal while the runner-up will get Rs 500,000 with trophy and medal, the host informed. #nepal #sport #rss
