Kathmandu, Feb 14: The broken pipe of the Melamchi Water Supply Project has been repaired at Babarmahal. According to Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited (KUKL), the water supply under the project resumed at the locality following the repair.
KUKL Chief Executive Officer Ashok Kumar Paudel said that the pipe was damaged during the installation of underground electric wires by Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). The pipeline was for supplying the drinking water in the Babarmahal area.
The Babarmahal area was flooded after the pipe ruptured. It had also disrupted the activities in the nearby government offices, including the Special Court.#nepal #rss #Water Supply
