Kathmandu, Oct 6: Minister for Drinking Water Pradeep Yadav has urged people’s representatives and locals of Dakshinkali for immediate arrangement of water supply to the residents of Lalitpur.
In his address to a discussion programme with the people’s representatives and local people at Dakshinkali municipality on Saturday, Minister Yadav urged to provide immediate assistance in the supply of water from Dakshinkali to Lalitpur area as many drinking water projects there have been damaged due to the recent floods and landslides.
On the occasion, people’s representatives and residents of Dakshinkali municipality said it is the duty of all sides to provide drinking water to the people in thirst.
“It is the humanitarian issue to supply drinking water to the people of Laitpur area. There may have been some problems in the past from our employees, KUKL employees and representatives. Therefore, the locals of Dakshinkali may be disenchanted to supply water to Lalitpur. I will take initiative to find a solution if there are any issues. Please help in water supply to Lalitpur”. Minister Yadav said
All Nepalis should come together to provide humanitarian assistance to each other as the country is facing problems including floods and landslides, he further said. #bhainsepati #water #landslide
