Kathmandu, June 29: A woman and her three-year-old daughter died when their house was buried in a landslide at Bange of Fedikhola rural municipality-5 of Syangja last night.
Durga Jiti,31, and her daughter Nikisa were in their sleep when landslide struck their house, Police Sub-Inspector Amrit Bhujel, said. Only the mother and daughter were at home at the time of the incident while the son had gone to stay overnight with his relatives in the village.
A buffalo also perished in the landslide, Bhujel said.
