Chitwan, Sept 23: A motorcyclist died when his rider collided with a truck at Aanptari forest area in Bharatpur metropolitan city on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as motorbike rider Arush Regmi, 23, of Bharatpur metropolis-1, Ramnagar, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.
The motorbike (Na 44 Pa 5017) had hit the Ramnagar-bound truck (Lu 2 Kha 690) from Aanptari from back side. Motorcyclist Regmi had sustained critical injuries in the accident.
He died while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur-based Chitwan Medical College. Police took control truck and its driver for further investigation.
