Lalitpur : CPN (Maoist Centre) assistant general secretary and Minister for Energy Pampha Bhusal has filed her candidacy for the election to the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Lalitpur Constituency No 3.
Bhusal registered her candidacy nomination at the Office of the Chief Returning Officer in Jawalakhel this afternoon.
Briefly talking to the media after the candidacy nomination, Bhusal said the upcoming elections shall strengthen democracy through implementation and institutionalization of constitution.
She added that the socio-economic development and employment creation along with strengthening of the system by implementing the constitution is her agenda.
“Election is the process to implement and institutionalize the constitution; this is a process to strengthen democracy. I have won elections twice from this constituency. So, I have registered my candidacy from this constituency with a fresh commitment to serve the people and system.” Bhusal stated.
From the ruling parties’ alliance, Raj Kaji Maharjan of CPN (Maoist Centre) has filed his candidacy nomination from Lalitpur Constituency No. 3 (A) and Jitendra Kumar Shrestha of Nepali Congress from the Constituency No. 3 (B) for the Provincial Assembly elections.
