Kathmandu, June 21: The Nalinchowk Heliport, Bhaktapur, officially commences of operations from today.
With 13 parking stands and 4 take-off/landing pads for simultaneous operations, this heliport will ease congestion of heterogeneous traffic in Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and facilitate development works as per master plan, according to Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
Minister for Civil Aviation Hit Bahadur Tamang and high ranking officials observed the landing pads amidst a program there.
