Kathmandu, March 21: The second meeting of the National Assembly (NA) scheduled for Friday was put off by issuing a notice.
General Secretary of Federal Parliament Secretariat, Padma Prasad Pandey, said the meeting could not take place on the scheduled date due to a special reason. It has been rescheduled for 12: 15 pm Sunday.
Earlier, it was announced to postpone the session by 15 minutes citing the contravening of the regulations of NA and the House of Representative (HoR). Then the meeting was rescheduled for 3: 30 pm.
Renu Chand expressed reservation on the provisions noting that the Replacement Bill contravened the NA Regulations, 2075 BS and the House of Representatives (HoR) Regulations, 2079 BS
Since the session was adjourned, the schedule to present a bill seeking consideration for the amendment to Some Nepal’s Acts-2081BS that was received from the HoR with a message remained affected.#nepal #political #rss
