Kathmandu, March 23: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that the country is steadily progressing on the path of development. Speaking at the “Together for Tomorrow: Youth and the Prime Minister” program organized by the National Youth Association Nepal, the Prime Minister acknowledged existing challenges but assured that the government is actively working toward solutions.

Highlighting the Digital Nepal initiative, PM Oli claimed that the campaign has significantly transformed the country’s digital landscape. He emphasized that the initiative was his own concept and has contributed to technological advancement.

He also pointed out the government’s commitment to healthcare development, particularly through its initiative to establish at least one basic hospital at each local level. “This effort will bring long-term transformations in Nepal’s health sector,” he asserted.

“Numerous medical colleges have been established, and basic health hospitals are either operational or in the process of being set up at the local level,” he said, reaffirming that health and education remain government priorities.

PM Oli also celebrated the growing number of women in the medical field, stating, “Our daughters are serving as medical specialists, and many more aspire to become experts. This is a significant achievement of our time.”

Emphasizing economic development, he stressed the need to promote entrepreneurship to create jobs and modernize agriculture to boost production and productivity.

Around 140 youth representatives from the medical, law, and science and technology sectors participated in the event, raising concerns related to their respective fields. In response, the Prime Minister encouraged them to present substantive reports, assuring that their inputs would be considered in the government’s upcoming policies, programs, and budget. #nepal #kpoli
