Kathmandu, July 11: A meeting of the National Assembly (NA) is scheduled for 12:15 PM today at the Federal Parliament building in Naya Baneshwor.
During the meeting, discussions will be held on a proposal of public importance registered by lawmakers Sumitra BC, Urmila Aryal, Kamala Pant, and others. The proposal seeks to introduce special provisions to ensure a safe, quality, and dignified life for senior citizens.
In addition, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka, will table the Water Resources Bill, 2081, along with messages from the House of Representatives (HoR), seeking the NA’s consideration.
Similarly, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak is expected to table the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081, accompanied by messages from the HoR requesting consideration from the upper house. #nepal #NA
