Kathmandu, Aug 22: A secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) today has extended best wishes to party Chairperson and Prime Minster KP Sharma Oli for his health recovery.
Prime Minister Oli is leaving for Singapore today for health follow-ups today.
The meeting decided to hold next meetings under the leadership of another Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to take decisions on party organizational unity in absence of Oli.
The meeting held this morning at the PM’s official residence Baluwatar touched on the backlogs of organizational unity but did not reach any concrete decision, shared NCP Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha.
Another Chair Dahal will call on the meeting soon to take the decisions, Shrestha further informed.
According to Shrestha, though PM’s health is not complicated he is leaving for Singapore as per the advice of the doctors attending him earlier.
PM Oli will stay in Singapore for 7-10 days so today’s meeting has agreed to take decisions on remaining affairs of party unity under the premiership of another chair.
